Stayed in bright queen room even with opening sofa bed. This was a good location close enough to restaurants and stores, and park.

Very comfortable, clean, friendly and good location.
I didn't like the fact they added a $50 fee to the bill (a standard procedure done automatically by credit card companies I was told) which showed up on our bank statement the next day, It never showed up on the hotel statement we saw at check-in or the bill we were given at check-out. I was told this was routine, and that a "sign at the front desk" stated that. We saw no sign at the desk stating there was a $50 fee to be added. (The fee was removed the following day from our bank statement, so if I hadn't checked it so soon it would not have been evident.) Even so, routine procedure or not, if a hold is being put on $ in your bank account you should be clearly made aware of it. Maybe it's "standard procedure", but it seems to me putting an unauthorized hold on someone's personal funds w/o telling them is an inappropriate business procedure. A sign at the desk??... Please! They can do better!

The buffet breakfast included in the cost of the room was actually quite good. The pool was fine, the front desk employees were kind and efficient.
The room had a foul odor to it. Don't know if it was cleaner ,smoke in a nonsmoking room or mildew or all three.Horrible!! The carpet was worn out and the bedframe was dusty. The bedspread was clean but stained. The tv was outdated. I would not stay here again

The hotel was modern and clean, with accommodating staff at the reception desk. I got the same good sized room with a huge shower seat in the bathroom that I booked online, and I truly enjoyed that.

the swimming pool and the bar
the mold on the bathroom ceiling, our keys not working two nights in a row and waiting until the other people in my party food was done and then they get there food and then tell me that they didn't have my food so while they eat I still had to wait for my food.

the bed was comfortable
very noisy--just the bad luck of room assignments, and their window treatments allow in way to much light night and day---disrupting sleep. Also we received but did not ask for a handicap accessable room where the railings were loose and coming undone and the sink too was quite loose. The bright window treatments also kept the room from cooling as well as it should have been for a June day.

The beds were okay.
I was at the hotel for an event, in the conference center, and almost everything was poorly executed. The food was all late. The staff was rude and yelled at us like cattle so that we would form 2 lines instead of one. The air conditioning was on full blast all day.

We had a nice room and a pleasant stay. But about 3am I felt something and there was a bug crawling on me. This did not make me feel comfortable. I don't feel that I should put up with that. We checked the rest of the bed and didn't find any more. But it made me very uncomfortable the rest of the night. We put the bug in a plastic bag and gave it to the person at the desk who said he would discuss this with the Manager.
